She enjoys spending time with her beautiful family in Gig Harbor and Maui, Hawaii, doing yoga, hiking, camping, researching, and enjoying nature.

She has studied bellydancing, hula, and many forms of yoga. Dawn received her Iyengar Yoga Teacher Certification in Bellevue from Aadill Paklivov in 2002. She has taught yoga and bellydance in Seattle, Gig Harbor, California, and Hawaii.
