If I could give him zero stars I would. I had a concerning lump in my right breast tissue that was growing weekly and becoming very painful. As a man, I hired Dr. Berardi (a plastic surgeon) thinking the results would turn out the best. That was the worst medical decision I've ever made...

After agreeing many times verbally and in writing to "remove the entire mass", Dr. Berardi intentionally only removed HALF the mass...being more concerned with the visual success behind his name than he was the health and well-being of myself, his client. The growth then grew twice as fast, twice as large, and became twice as painful...until I finally had the entire thing removed by a real surgeon, two more painfully agonizing and embarrassing years later...for thousands more dollars out of my pocket.

Luckily the growth came back benign because if it was cancer I could have died from this surgeons selfish choices. If you're going to hire someone, find a person with good values who cares about their clients more than his pocket and reputation. Dr. Berardi handled my case irresponsibly and completely rude after I came back in with concerns...brushing me off and then telling me I can hire him again to take more out if I want.

Every other surgeon I told this story to, felt disgusted this man was even in practice, giving other surgeons a bad name. I have all of our conversations recorded with Dr. Berardi admitting to all of this, and when I get time I intend on sharing his neglect with as many people and authorities as possible. Make your decisions wisely friends.

[ A D D I T I O N ] - You'll notice Dr. Berardi didn't even reply to this review himself, instead tasking a brand new employee to do it for him. Then they suggest I'm not a recent patient to try and cloud the waters...another clear example of poor character. This is the same way I was treated when I went back for multiple appointments expressing my concerns already...Dr. Berardi was short with zero compassion, and simply hurried me on my way each time. This is also why I have no reason to go back and chat with anyone, aside from the fact I had a real surgeon remove the mass already, 1st try.
