Choose your plastic surgeon carefully for the best results. Dr. Alan N. Larsen is a double board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Atlanta, Georgia. In preparation for his career in plastic surgery, Dr. Larsen earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

In the pursuit of continued excellence, he moved across the country to begin his 5-year general surgery residency at the University of Florida, Jacksonville campus.

After 4 years as a general surgery resident, Dr. Larsen advanced to chief resident during his fifth year, from 1994 to 1995. Soon after, he was granted admission to the plastic surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University’s Baptist Hospital, one of the country’s most demanding plastic surgery programs. He finished as chief plastic surgery resident in 1997.

After completing his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Larsen traveled throughout the country and trained with some of the most renowned cosmetic surgeons in the country. Finally, he settled in Atlanta and established his cosmetic surgery practice in the prestigious Buckhead district of north Atlanta. Today, Buckhead Plastic Surgery houses 3 distinct options in a single building to better serve its growing patient base.
