Profile of Danielle Dumestre, Dr

Dr. Danielle Dumestre is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. She specializes in breast reconstruction, aesthetic breast and body surgery, labiaplasty, and gender-affirming top surgery, including chest feminization (breast augmentation) and chest masculinization.

Dr. Dumestre holds a subspecialty microsurgery fellowship from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, which allowed her to further specialize in DIEP flap (living tissue) breast reconstruction. She was also in a mixed private and academic practice in Canada before joining the Austin Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team in July 2022. She is fluent in Spanish and French and currently offers consults in these languages.
