Dr. Ruston Sanchez is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Baton Rouge, LA, specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. A Baton Rouge native, Dr. Sanchez graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University as a University Medalist with a degree in Biological Sciences. He received his medical doctorate from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, where he was awarded the Drs. C.H. and Yamuna Narayanan Scholarship in Human Embryology.

Dr. Sanchez went on to complete a highly competitive six-year integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, where he learned the fundamentals of plastic surgery procedures such as breast augmentation, mommy makeover, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty, and facelifts . There, he also received specialized and comprehensive training in breast reconstruction, pediatric and craniomaxillofacial reconstruction, hand/upper extremity reconstruction, microsurgery, gender-affirming surgery, and aesthetic surgery.
