Dr. Daniel A. Sterling is a member of a select group of physicians double board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition, he is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Elliot Hospital and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from medical school with high honors and received numerous awards during residency including Resident of the Year and the Medical Staff President’s Award for Academic and Scholastic Excellence. 

In 2016, Dr. Sterling was voted by his peers as one of New Hampshire’s leading physicians in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, as reported by New Hampshire Magazine. As one of the best plastic surgeons in New Hampshire, Dr. Sterling has been serving the New England community from Manchester, New Hampshire since 2005. 

Dr. Sterling treats patients from all over New England including the northernmost parts of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Having performed many gastric bypass procedures during his training at The Hospital of St. Raphael, he has extensive experience in the care of bariatric patients. He regularly speaks at the bariatric support group meetings at The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester. He offers a wide range of procedures specifically indicated for massive weight loss patients including circumferential lower body lift, buttock lift, brachioplasty, mastopexy (breast lift).
