Her approach to care focuses on optimizing quality of life for her patients and working with them to choose the surgical procedures that best fit their lifestyle and medical/aesthetic goals. As a researcher, she investigates how surgical experiences affect patients' well-being. The BREAST-Q tool she developed is used around the world to help surgeons evaluate how women feel about their breast surgery.
