Dr. David A. Iannitti, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in advanced surgical care and aesthetic transformation. After earning his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine, he completed advanced surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, specializing in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Iannitti has held numerous leadership positions, including Professor of Surgery at Atrium Health and Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he served as Chief of HPB Surgery and Program Director of the HPB Surgery Fellowship. A nationally recognized innovator and educator, he has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, directed national training programs, and pioneered advancements in minimally invasive and image-guided surgical techniques. His groundbreaking work has earned him several research awards, patents, and leadership appointments within major surgical organizations such as the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Now bringing his surgical precision and artistic sensibility to Southern Surgical Arts, Dr. Iannitti specializes in facial rejuvenation, including facelifts, eyelid surgery, and precision aesthetic enhancements that deliver natural, timeless results. He completed a fellowship in General Cosmetic Surgery with an emphasis on advanced facial procedures, combining his technical mastery with an artistic approach that emphasizes refinement over change.

Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Iannitti spent many years in Charlotte, North Carolina, before relocating to Chattanooga, Tennessee. He currently serves patients in Calhoun, Georgia, Chattanooga, and Atlanta Beauty Bar locations. Dedicated to helping patients age confidently and gracefully, Dr. Iannitti has a particular passion for working with mature and male patients, offering subtle, natural enhancements that restore a refreshed and refined appearance.
