Dr. Cook is the founder and medical director of the Whole Beauty® Institute in Chicago and Winnetka, Illinois — one of the first practices in the Midwest to offer a fusion of high level surgical and medical aesthetics. The practice rests upon a firm foundation that emphasizes skill, safety, and service. Dr. Cook has assembled a leadership-level team to care for his patients. Dr. Cook and his team are privileged to care for patients from around the country and the world and provide all patients with concierge-level service.

Dr. Cook’s educational and professional credentials, innovative techniques, and consistent track record of results have established him as a recognized leader in the fields of aesthetic plastic surgery and advanced medical aesthetics.

Dr. Cook’s credentials testify to a lifelong commitment to educational rigor and professional excellence. Dr. Cook spent his college years at Yale University, where he graduated cum laude and with departmental honors. He returned to his native Chicago for medical school at Northwestern University, where he determined that plastic surgery would be his chosen field. After medical school, he purposely chose the most rigorous path to achieve his training as a plastic surgeon, with eight years of advanced postdoctoral training at Rush University Medical Center and Northwestern University Medical Center. During these years he carried out surgical research that led to a separate master’s degree.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Cook has been on the faculty of Rush Medical College and on the staff of Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized academic and research hospital. Dr. Cook plays an active role in the Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Rush, and he enjoys training the next generation of plastic surgeons, particularly in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery, also known as cosmetic surgery.
