Dr. Chan is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has served as an assistant clinical professor at Stanford University Medical Center and worked as an attending surgeon at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center. While there, Dr. Chan provided care to injured Iraqi veterans by performing life-changing facial reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Chan holds memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
