Dr. Susan MacLennan is pleased to offer experienced, personalized plastic surgery care to Vermont, northern New England, and the North Country of New York at Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery in Colchester, VT.

Dr. MacLennan grew up in a small town in Nova Scotia and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a doctor. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. After six years of residency at the University of Cincinnati and a mini-fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Miami, she was ready to return to New England. She spent 15 years on the faculty of the UVM College of Medicine and was deeply involved in the care of breast cancer patients in Vermont and the North Country of New York. In 2015, she had an opportunity to return to her native Canada to join a small private practice well-known for top-quality cosmetic breast and body surgery. Her deep love for Vermont and vision for a small, intimate, service-oriented practice brought her and her family back to the community in 2018, when she opened Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery.
