Profile of Leslie Shock, Dr

Dr. Leslie Shock, previously Leslie Farmer, is local to Jefferson City. While growing up in mid-Missouri she was very active within the community and was an Academic All-American athlete for Mizzou Track & Field.

From even her earliest memories, Dr. Shock knew she wanted to be a physician. She was committed to helping people feel and look their best.

Her education began at the University of Missouri where Dr. Shock graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with honors in Biology and Economics. Following her undergraduate degree, she went on to obtain her Medical Degree and achieve Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the University of Missouri. She continued her training at the University of Missouri and where she completed six years of Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency. In residency under an “apprenticeship” model, she had the opportunity to train under a former President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and engage in a wide variety of plastic surgery techniques and services, including breast reconstruction, pediatric plastic surgery, craniofacial plastic surgery, hand and upper-extremity surgery, and cosmetic surgery.
