Profile of Gregory Sexton, Dr

Dr. Sexton was born, and raised in Richmond, Kentucky. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with "High Distinction" in 1978. His degree was in microbiology. After graduation, he went to medical school at The University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky, graduating in 1982.

Dr. Sexton did his internship at The Medical College of Ohio, in Toledo, Ohio, prior to completing a five year General Surgery Residency in Columbia, S.C. After completing his General Surgery training, Dr. Sexton went back to The University of Kentucky, where he did his Plastic Surgery training, in what many people feel was one of the premier training programs in the country.

After completing his surgical training Dr. Sexton moved to Columbia, S.C. where his wife was raised. He started his practice here in 1990, and he has been here since then.
