Salomon Puyana, MD. “Doctor Salomon Puyana, a native of Colombia, completed high school in his home country. He then pursued a degree in biomedical engineering at the prestigious University of Miami in Florida. With diligence and dedication, he excelled in his studies, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors, Magna Cum Laude. Eager to expand his knowledge, he went on to pursue a Masters in Industrial Engineering specialized in healthcare at the same institution and graduated with an Award of Academic Merit.

Driven by his passion for healthcare, Dr. Puyana’s educational pursuits led him to the esteemed University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. Eager to gain practical experience, he returned to Miami and undertook a rigorous general surgery residency at HCA Kendall Regional Medical Center. He received the research resident of the year award. The invaluable training he received during this period prepared him for his future specialization.

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive expertise, Dr. Puyana further honed his skills by pursuing a plastic surgery fellowship at the distinguished Tulane University/Ochsner Medical Center program in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was during his time in this vibrant city that his interest in aesthetic surgery flourished. Through this fellowship, he trained under esteemed pioneers in plastic surgery, acquiring invaluable knowledge and skills in breast, body contouring, high definition liposculpture, facial rejuvenation and microsurgery.
