For more than 20 years, Dr. Todd A. Pollock has practiced plastic and reconstructive surgery in the North Dallas area. In their time working together, they innovated new techniques that reduce complications, speed recovery, and improve patient experience by disrupting and redefining long-standing plastic surgery norms.

Most notably and now recognized worldwide, the father-son duo pioneered a no-drain tummy tuck procedure with their progressive tension suture (PTS) technique that earned them national and international acclaim. The method uses what they have termed progressive tension sutures that anchor the abdominal skin flap to the underlying tissues, securing it in a tightened and more attractive position and closing down the large surgically created space to avoid fluid accumulation. This eliminates the need for the drains used in traditional tummy tuck surgery by greatly reducing post-op fluid collections, allows patients to walk upright (and not hunched over as in traditional tummy tuck approaches), speeds recovery, and improves the overall patient experience.
