Dr. Schnitt completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School and went on to Louisiana State University for his general surgery training and The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for plastic surgery. After fellowship training, Dr. Schnitt settled in South Florida where he has been practicing for the past 21 years. Dr. Schnitt lectures nationally and internationally and continues to donate his surgical expertise throughout the world to those less fortunate. Dr. Schnitt finds his volunteer work on children with ailments such as cleft lip, cleft palate, craniofacial issues, and burns extremely rewarding.

Dr. Schnitt enjoys teaching and has been faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Florida Plastic Surgery Residency and Nova Southeastern University Pedodontic Residency Programs, several Physicians Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Medical schools over the years. Dr. Schnitt oversees Inspire Aesthetics in Delray Beach and Fort Lauderdale Florida where he performs cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body for a wide variety of patients including the transgender population.
