Dr. Michael Hawes was a highly valued member of the Fante Centre team from 2015 to 2020 when he retired. He combined vast experience and a warm bedside manner to provide top-notch medical and surgical care for our patients. Dr. Hawes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and then with honors from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Postgraduate training in medicine/surgery, ophthalmology, and ophthalmic plastic surgery was completed at the University of Colorado and the University of Wisconsin.
