Dr. David Gerth, our skilled plastic surgeon at The Secret Plastic Surgery, has been passionate about the sciences from a young age. While pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Genetics at the University of Georgia in Athens, he worked in a developmental cell biology lab and volunteered at a local hospital. These early experiences helped him realize that a career in medicine would allow him to connect with people from all walks of life and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Later, while attending medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Dr. Gerth discovered that plastic surgery was the ideal path for him. It offered the perfect combination of science, creativity, and artistry. Today, at The Secret Plastic Surgery, he takes great pride in having chosen a rewarding profession that has given him the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for hundreds of patients—both aesthetically and personally.
