Dr. Jared Gopman is an American Board Certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon at The Laufer Institute of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Gopman was born and raised in South Florida. Growing up, he became experienced in procedural medicine by working as a dental assistant in his parents’ Dental office. His interest piqued in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery during medical school when his mother developed breast cancer and underwent reconstructive surgery following a bilateral mastectomy. Dr. Gopman: “The journey of my mother’s reconstructive surgery showed me how important Plastic Surgeons are and the difference they can make in patient’s lives. Her reconstruction made her feel whole again following her mastectomies, and I knew that I wanted to give back to my patients in the same way.”
