Dr Craig R Dufresne is an internationally-recognized plastic surgeon and medical scientist. He is an internationally top-ranked craniofacial surgeon and has been ranked among America’s and Washington DC’s best plastic surgeons for his entire career. Throughout his career, Dr Dufresne has demonstrated a sincere dedication to providing exemplary plastic surgery care for every patient. Dr Craig R Dufresne, MD, FACS, FICFS, is a solo private practice plastic surgeon in Northern Virginia. Dr Dufresne earned his medical degree from Columbia University, completed his general surgery training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical Institutions, and his plastic surgery training at the Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery / New York University Medical Center. He received fellowship training in craniofacial and microvascular surgery at New York University Medical Center.

Dr Dufresne is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Association of Plastic Surgery, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and several other medical societies. He has served as or is currently a committee or board member of many of these societies.

A native of Massachusetts, Dr Dufresne resides with his family in Maryland. He enjoys spending time with his family, history, art, writing, and cooking.
