Dr. Janet M. Neigel is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculofacial plastic surgeon near Morristown, New Jersey. She received both her undergraduate and medical degrees in her native New Jersey, where she graduated with honors in biology from Douglass College, Rutgers University. Dr. Neigel also obtained her M.D. degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where she completed her ophthalmology specialty residency training.

Prior to obtaining her degree, Dr. Neigel spent two years training at Far Eastern University Manila in the Philippines.

She also completed an orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and she is currently a clinical associate professor of Ophthalmology at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Neigel is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Although Dr. Neigel has expertise in many forms of oculofacial plastic surgery, her primary specialty is blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery. At EltraSelf, she performs both cosmetic and functional blepharoplasty, and she is considered an innovator in the newest eyelid surgery techniques. Throughout her impressive career, she has performed countless successful blepharoplasty procedures and helped numerous patients improve the aesthetics and functionality of their eyelids.
