Dr. Farahmand is a board certified female plastic surgeon in Fort Myers, Florida. She received her fellowship training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. There, she trained under some of the leaders in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and treated patients from all over the world for cosmetic issues as well as reconstructive issues. Prior to this, she completed a full general surgery residency in Manhattan at Cabrini Medical Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Farahmand is originally from Indiana where she received her M.D. at Indiana University. She specializes in all aspects of cosmetic surgery including facial, body contouring, and breast surgery. Dr. Farahmand is Board Certified by and a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and Cambridge Who’s Who.

She recently served as President-Elect of the Lee County Medical Society and was selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the field of Plastic Surgery. She has been named a US News Top Doctor and has also won the Patient’s Choice Award by Vitals.com. Farahmand Plastic Surgery of Fort Myers specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body as well as advanced skin care. Dr. Farahmand takes a comprehensive approach to all patients, carefully assessing patients’ perceptions, motivations, and expectations, combined with a close examination of their anatomy. Attention is paid to their individual lifestyle, exercise, and nutritional practice. This information is then used to construct a highly individualized treatment plan. Patients are completely prepared for their surgery. It is her priority to make sure all questions are answered and all options are thoroughly explained in a relaxed and calming environment.
