Dr. Matthew Shambaugh has been practicing in Fort Wayne since 1991 as a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is committed to providing excellent care and services to his patients. A founder of Plastic Surgery Associates and a member of Summit Plastic Surgery, Dr. Shambaugh maintains memberships in The American Society of Aesthetic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Plastic Surgery, Indiana State Medical Society, and Fort Wayne Medical Society.

Dr. Shambaugh has additional training in cosmetic surgery, as well as microsurgery. He also participates in multiple national and regional plastic surgery meetings as part of his commitment to provide the Fort Wayne community with new and exciting procedures and techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the benefit of the patients. Dr. Shambaugh also enjoys sharing his talents and skills teaching IU medical students. He has received Indiana University’s Department of Surgery “Excellence In Teaching of Medical Students” award. Immediately following the devastating earthquake, Dr. Shambaugh volunteered his surgical expertise for medical missions to both Guatemala and Haiti.
