• Dr. Walton attended high school in Atlanta, GA and went on to graduate from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. While at Dartmouth, Dr. Walton was selected for Phi Beta Kappa membership. From there, Dr. Walton went to Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, graduating with his Doctorate of Medicine Degree in 1988. At Emory, Dr. Walton was invited to join the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Walton then completed his residency in General Surgery at the Emory University General Surgery Program from 1988 – 1993. He completed a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Plastic Surgery Program from 1993 – 1995. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Walton began his professional career at Plastic Surgery of Athens, in Athens, GA from 1995 – 1997, before joining Aesthetic Center of Gainesville in 1997.
