Dr. Puya Davoodi is a highly sought after board-certified plastic surgeon who is excited to have the opportunity to serve the people of North Georgia. Dr. Davoodi joined the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville in 2014, after serving as a faculty plastic surgeon at the University of Florida. Offering a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures for the face, body, breast, and skin, Dr. Davoodi’s reconstructive techniques keep in mind the essential aesthetic principles to ensure complete patient satisfaction. Over his illustrious career, Dr. Davoodi has been praised for his excellent bedside manner, compassionate patient care, and his dedication to teaching other medical professionals.

He has used his knowledge and expertise to help patients who suffer from intractable migraine headaches not responsive to conventional medical therapy. Dr. Davoodi's clinical interests include: breast augmentation, facial aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, mommy makeover, breast reduction, surgery after massive weight loss, body contouring, peripheral nerve decompression, migraine surgery, and arthritis surgery. Dr. Davoodi is currently accepting patients in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Davoodi is board-certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. After successfully completing his Plastic Surgery fellowship, Dr. Davoodi was highly recruited and joined the University of Florida Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as an esteemed faculty member and fellowship educator. While at the university, Dr. Davoodi was a speaker at multiple conferences and has given presentations on breast reconstruction, surgery after massive weight loss, wound care management, surgical treatment of migraine headaches, and medical ethics. One of his favorite activities has been taking multiple trips to Honduras as part of Smile Train to operate on children with cleft lips and palates.
