Profile of J. Craig Uecker, Dr

Dr.Uecker is one of the founding physicians of the Physician’s Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a community-based practitioner focusing on a comprehensive approach to cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. As a native of Hollywood, Florida, Dr. Uecker has enjoyed establishing his surgical practice in his hometown and has been in practice since July 1994. Dr. Uecker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Harvard University and graduated Cum Laude. While in high school he was awarded the Brian Piccolo Scholar-Athlete Scholarship and Henry Lamar Most Dedicated Scholar-Athlete while at Harvard University. He is a past Chief of Plastic Surgery at Broward General Hospital and along with Dr. Weiser one of the founders of the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program responsible for the training and instruction of new plastic surgeons.
