Dr. Tom Reisler is a board-certified, internationally-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
He completed advanced training in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in the United Kingdom and United States. His decades of practice, experience, and academic education, have culminated in his high levels of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and reconstructive procedures proficiency and excellence.

Dr. Reisler earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University College London and his MBChB degree from the University of Dundee Medical School – two of the most distinguished teaching institutions in the United Kingdom. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed a highly selective training program at the Oxford Deanery, during which he was extensively trained in general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, and otolaryngology. He went on to serve as Plastic Surgery Senior House Officer & Registrar at Oxford and London. He pursued his further academic education in the United States where he was involved in fundamental scientific research at the NYU Langone Medical Center; and underwent an internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Reisler completed a Microsurgery Fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he later served as Chief Resident of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency program. During his residency, Dr. Reisler further pursued to enhance his knowledge, skills, and expertise by undertaking a second Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery.

Before relocating to South Florida and joining Plastic Surgery Specialists of South Florida, to utilize his world class training and skills, Dr. Reisler held a number of other prominent positions, including Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. There, he shared his profound knowledge and skill with the next generation of surgeons and developed a passion for teaching. He is also an accomplished researcher and has presented his research and clinical experience at numerous conferences, at both national and international levels. He has authored and published more than 30 peer-reviewed medical papers and written book chapters.

Dr. Reisler is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
