Profile of Calvin Jung, Dr

Dr. Calvin Jung was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. After having corrective jaw surgery himself and experiencing its benefits firsthand, he decided to pursue training in maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Jung completed his dental education at New York University finishing in the top 2% of his class. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society. He then went on to medical school at the prestigious NYU School of Medicine where he graduated with high honors. Dr Jung is a double board certified surgeon.

During his internship in general surgery, he had the chance to rotate and operate with distinguished facial, aesthetic and plastic surgeons and developed a passion for cosmetic procedures. In order to complement his surgical skills, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he completed an accredited full body cosmetic surgery fellowship under the past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Having performed thousands of surgeries to date, Dr. Jung’s cosmetic expertise is in awake liposuction, the Brazilian Butt Lift and breast augmentation.

As a recognized expert in the field, Dr. Jung has lectured nationally on various topics ranging from facial reconstruction and rehabilitation to full body and facial cosmetic surgery.

He’s been faculty at multiple live surgery workshops in cosmetic surgery. He’s also authored publications on subjects including the treatment of cleft rhinoplasties and the treatment and management of head and neck pathology.
