Profile of Carlos Murillo, Dr

Born and raise in El Paso Texas, doctor Murillo started college at age 15 at University of North Texas at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science. He completed his bachelors degree at age 18 at the University of Texas at Austin in molecular biology. He then went on to pursue his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx.

Upon completion of his Medical Degree, Dr. Murillo completed his general surgery residency at Texas Tech. He then went on to complete a fellowship in burn surgery as well as plastic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Murillo is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons since 2015. He is also an assistant professor of plastic surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston
