Dr. Perry refined innovative surgical techniques in the field of breast surgery while working with international physicians in Milan, Italy, at the European Institute of Oncology. Dr. Perry also worked at Lenox Hill Hospital on Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York, focusing primarily on aesthetic surgery. Dr. Perry completed a two year fellowship in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Department of Plastic Surgery at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, Dr. Perry received the Governor’s Commendation for Heroism from the State of Oklahoma for outstanding service in his field and later was involved in the treatment of the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing.
