Dr. David Magno-Padron is a Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery in Houston, Texas. He has undergone extensive, rigorous training in both general surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery.

His interests span the full spectrum of aesthetic procedures, including breast and body surgery, body contouring, and facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Magno-Padron is known for his natural interpersonal warmth and unique ability to build authentic relationships with his patients. Background

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to a Cuban mother and Puerto Rican father, Dr. Magno-Padron moved to the United States at a young age. Spanish was his first language, and he remains proud of his Latin heritage and bilingual fluency—qualities that continue to enhance his ability to connect meaningfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Magno-Padron earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Michigan before attending the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then completed a rigorous five-year general surgery residency atthe Tulane University program in New Orleans, where he gained a deep understanding of the full scope of surgical care across all general surgery subspecialties. During his time there, he was honored as Surgical Resident of the Year and also received the Matas Clinical Research Award—recognitions that reflect both his technical skill and the high regard in which he was held by patients and peers alike.

After his third year of residency, Dr. Magno-Padron pursued a dedicated year of research in plastic and reconstructive surgery, during which he published 13 peer-reviewed articles across the field and authored a book chapter on nerve regeneration.

He then completed a three-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received advanced training in reconstructive surgery of the breast, extremities, head & neck, as well as hand surgery and microsurgery, along with a strong foundation in aesthetic procedures across both hospital-based and private practice settings.

As a board-eligible plastic surgeon at ACPS, Dr. Magno-Padron is focused on refining his technical skills in aesthetic plastic surgery to improve patient outcomes. Upon completion, he will have completed a full decade of surgical training since graduating from medical school—a testament to his unwavering dedication to excellence in patient care, surgical specialization, and personal connection.
