Breast Augmentation in Kirkland, Washington

Breast augmentation is performed for cosmetic and reconstructive purposes.

Women who choose cosmetic breast enlargement often do so to boost their self-confidence, improve self-image, and balance out body proportions. Breast augmentation with implants is also performed to reconstruct a natural breast shape after a mastectomy.

Breast augmentation is the most common type of cosmetic procedure in the US. For many women, it’s not just about having larger breasts. They choose the procedure to correct asymmetry, restore breast volume after pregnancy, and correct other concerns. Skilled plastic surgeons approach breast augmentation as an individualized procedure that is tailored to the unique desires of each woman.

What is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation, often referred to as a “boob job,” is a surgical procedure that uses implants or fat transfer to change the size and shape of the breasts. A plastic surgeon may recommend the procedure to give the breasts a rounder appearance, improve breast symmetry, and restore lost breast volume. Breast augmentation may be combined with breast lift surgery to address sagging.

Silicone or saline breast implants are placed under the breast tissue or chest muscles. Fat transfer is another technique that is used to improve breast shape and size, although it is typically reserved for women who only need minor changes to their breasts.

Excess fat is harvested from another area of your body, such as your hips, thighs, or abdomen. The fat is purified and injected into the breast area just under the skin. Some plastic surgeons use fat transfers as part of the implant procedure to correct dimples and sculpt the breast shape.

First of all I wanted to love this place. My friend recommended me to see Dr. McIntosh for Botox and it was my first time getting a Botox. I love that they have a referral discount. The first visit in March 2024 with Dr. McIntosh was amazing experience, he listened and answered all my questions/concerns. Since it was my first time, he iced my skin before the injection (less painful), I got 20 units around my forehead, it lasted me about 6 months. I was very impressed by the result. Second time I went there to get my Botox was in August, I brought one of my friend with me and she was interested to getting Botox as well. We both getting Botox at the same time from Dr. McIntosh but the experience from the first time and the second time was so much different. He didn't ask a lot of questions from my friend and didn't offered or used ice to numb the skin. I asked if Dr. can use the ice before the injections. He did. But the whole Botox appointment seem very rush, it was more painful than the first time and I bled more than the first time I got the injections (I got the same 20 units ). It was painful and it wasn't enjoyable :( My friend felt the same way, she said it was more painful than the other place that she got Botox before. I came home and had a very bad migraine all day. I expected the headache side effect but it was pretty bad, again, everything seem different from the first time I got.

It's been about 2 months, my friend started to notice that her lines are coming back which is not normal. She got 30 units. Our expectation was Botox should last about 3-4 months at least until we can start to notice to lines. I called the office, spoke with someone there and giving them feedback about the Botox result for my friend (she doesn't speak English), the lady said that it was "very normal" that Botox will last 2 months and she can come back and get more... I mean... I and my friend do not want to spend $250+ every 2 months...

I was upset with my last visit. I probably not going back. Sadly, they lost 2 clients.
