Dr. Daniel D. Lee, MD, is a double board-certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and is a diplomate in the American Board of Otolaryngology as well as the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

A native to Albany, New York, Dr. Lee graduated Magna Cum Laude from the highly competitive Siena/Albany Medical College Combined Program in Science, Humanities, and Medicine with a Bachelor of Arts in 2013. He then went on to complete his medical degree at Albany Medical College in 2017, where he graduated Cum Laude and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During his time there he was also awarded several prizes, including the David R. Nalin International Research Grant, The John Milton Bigelow Prize, Albany Medical College Alumni Association Research Stipend, and Albany Medical College Scholastic Award.

Dr. Lee then went on to complete his residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Albany Medical Center where he was extensively trained in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, focusing exclusively on the nose, eyes, face, and neck. During his surgical training he performed well over 2000 cases and had the honor of being a Chief Resident during his final year. He was also awarded the Albany Medical Center Otolaryngology Golden Apple Award for outstanding mentorship of his junior colleagues.

Dr. Lee is passionate about teaching and has produced several surgical technique videos on YouTube in effort to educate young surgeons and his patients about various surgical procedures. Additionally, he publishes in major journals and continues to lecture at national meetings.

Following the completion of his residency training, Dr. Lee pursued a Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious New York University where he performed hundreds of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries and held a pivotal role in educating and training the NYU residents. He worked extensively with several world-renowned surgeons, including Dr. Phillip Miller, Dr. David Rosenberg, Dr. Matthew White, Dr. Sam Rizk, Dr. John Turk, Dr. Jeffrey Wise, and Dr. Judy Lee. Due to this exposure, he learned the newest and most effective techniques in facial plastic surgery and helped manage many high-profile patients, including world renowned entrepreneurs, leaders, and celebrities.

Dr. Lee along with his wife, Dr. Kathryn Lee who is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and aesthetic injector, has a passion for medical missions and has served in Kenya, India, and Cambodia. They also enjoy family life with their children and love downhill skiing, swimming, traveling, and cooking.
