In a field that is largely dominated by men, Dr. Capek is proud to be a female plastic surgeon recognized for her skill and expertise. She has practiced cosmetic surgery in the Capital District since 1996. In that time, she has developed her signature blend of advanced technique, personalized care, and an artistic eye. She thoroughly enjoys the unique challenge each patient presents in this creative specialty. She gets great satisfaction from improving the quality of life and wellness of her patients.

Dr. Capek’s areas of expertise include cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and body for women and men. She is known for stunning facelift, blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty transformations, Mommy Makeover, explant surgery and fat transfer. She utilizes the latest techniques and technology for greater comfort, safety and precision. Her goal is to consistently achieve natural-looking, beautiful results for patients all over New York, including Saratoga, Albany, and Schenectady.

Dr. Capek also specializes in minimally invasive facial procedures, such as Botox®, Facial Injectable Treatments, Micro Fat Grafting, and Laser-Assisted Lipoplasty (SmartLipo). She is an expert in fat transfer procedures to the face, breasts, and body, offering this now-popular procedure since 1997. She and her staff deliver this expansive menu of cosmetic services along with the most advanced and effective skincare treatments, such as Hydrafacial and Skinpen Microneedling.

Dr. Capek received her doctorate from McGill University. She received specialized training in plastic surgery at Washington University and earned a Fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery from the University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children.

At home, Dr. Capek is devoted to her husband, two children and a menagerie of pets. She is a former ballet dancer and enjoys the performing arts, music, yoga, travel, great food, nature and above all, spending time with her family.
