Profile of Juan Quintero, Dr

Dr. Juan Quintero graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and earned his medical degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. After completing his surgical training at Tulane University Medical Center, he completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Known for his skillful surgical approach and dedication to his patient’s needs, Dr. Quintero has been performing plastic surgery in Louisville since 2007. He joined forces with plastic surgeon Dr. Calobrace at CaloAesthetics® Plastic Surgery Center and CaloSpa® Rejuvenation Center in June 2023.

A past president of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons (KSPS), Dr. Quintero is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

With a dedication to medicine that extends beyond his practice, Dr. Quintero has participated in mission trips to Ecuador and the Philippines. There he provided surgical care to repair cleft lips and palates for children. He also engages in research activities and has presented his findings at conferences and symposiums.
