Profile of Ziad Katrib, Dr

Dr. Katrib was born in Buffalo, New York. He was raised in Charleston, West Virginia and ultimately completed both his undergraduate and medical school training at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He completed medical school in the top quartile of his class, and was accepted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Katrib went on to complete both an internship year in General Surgery and four years in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville. During his training, he gained extensive experience in facial trauma surgery as well as head and neck cancer ablative and reconstructive surgery.

At the completion of his Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the University of Louisville, Dr. Katrib was accepted into a highly competitive Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship with the world renowned and 2015-2016 President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Edwin Williams, in Latham NY. During this training, he gained extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck.

Dr. Katrib is one of very few surgeons in the United States who specializes in Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty. He performs between 200-300 of these operations a year, not including his many nasal and facial reconstructive surgeries. Truly dedicated to his craft, Dr. Katrib is fully committed to achieving the best functional and cosmetic results possible for his patients.
