Profile of Jane Rowley, Dr
Dr. Jane Rowley grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Monterey High School in 1982. She attended Creighton University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985. She then continued her medical education at Creighton University School of Medicine and graduated in 1989.
In an era when plastic surgeons were typically trying to speed up their training, Dr. Rowley held herself to a very high standard and completed a full general surgery residency at Creighton University. This included a planned dedicated year of surgical research as well as six months of international surgical training in the United Kingdom. Dr. Rowley was then Board Certified in General Surgery.
Dr. Rowley then continued her training in plastic surgery at New York University’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, one of the premier plastic surgery training programs in the country with over 25 full-time and part-time plastic surgeons on its faculty. She received her training from such world renowned plastic surgeons as Dr. Sherrell Aston, Dr. Daniel Baker, and Dr. Joseph McCarthy. Her training also included extensive cosmetic surgery training at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital.
