Dr. Sanan’s journey in medicine began in Sharon, where he attended Sharon High School. His talents set him on an accelerated path, gaining acceptance to the Boston University School of Medicine through the seven-year BA/MD program. His dedication and excellence in medicine were recognized with the Dean Eleanor Tyler Award and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society at graduation.

Following his medical school journey, Dr. Sanan pursued further training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

He then earned a prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University. As a faculty member, he shared his expertise by training resident surgeons and medical students.

Before joining the Boston Center for Plastic Surgery, Dr. Sanan honed his craft in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, establishing a busy and successful facial plastic surgery practice serving an international clientele.

His decision to return to Boston was fueled by a deep connection to his family and returning home.
