Somprasong Songcharoen, MD, is one of plastic surgery’s highly respected and admired surgeons. His specialties are plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, head and neck surgery, and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Songcharoen received a Diploma in Sciences from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Medical Sciences and Siriraj Hospital in Thailand. He completed his internship at the Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Songcharoen served his Surgical Residency at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, and his Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Grace Hospital. He completed his Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Dr. Songcharoen is certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and has the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons, Thailand.
