Dave (and yes, he prefers to just be called Dave—no “doctor” necessary) initially became interested in the aesthetic side of medicine while doing a plastic surgery rotation in medical school.

He took a different medical career path for a period of time, but his aesthetic interest was reawakened when he sought treatments for the angry 11s between his eyes in 2007. That’s right, his 11s caused him to do a career 180! While those 11s are long gone, he now rates his aesthetic career a solid 10!

When Dave started his aesthetic medicine training in 2007, training opportunities were not readily available as they are today, so he traveled far and wide to learn techniques for BOTOX® and dermal filler injections. Now considered one of the leading facial aesthetic injectors in the industry, Dave trains other medical professionals throughout the Midwest as an official trainer for aesthetic companies such as Allergan (BOTOX®, Juvederm®, Voluma®, Volbella®), Galderma (Sculptra® Aesthetic), and Dermasculpt (microcannulas).

In addition to his busy training schedule, Dave is the medical director of Radiance, along with other clinics in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
