H. Garth Smith, D.M.D., M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery). Dr. Smith is a graduate ofthe Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Medicine. He completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, a general surgery internship and residency prerequisite at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Smith went on to complete an additional residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Prior to relocating to western Kentucky, he served as the Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia.

Dr. Smith, his wife Tammy, and dogs Geronimo and Dixie, love western Kentucky. In his free time, Dr. Smith enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
