Profile of Kelly Babineaux, Dr

Dr. Babineaux is from Rayne, Louisiana, and presently resides in New Orleans.  She graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry from LSU Baton Rouge in 1999, then, attended LSU School of Medicine New Orleans, where she received her medical degree in 2003.  Subsequently, she completed a 5-year residency in General Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2008.  She went on to complete a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at Yale University School of Medicine in the Department of Plastic Surgery in 2010.

Dr. Babineaux is a board-certified hand surgeon who has been in practice for almost 12 years.
Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at LSU Health New Orleans.  She is in the clinical practice of hand surgery at the LSU Healthcare Network and East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie and University Medical Center in New Orleans.
