Dr. Sands is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from LSU New Orleans, he advanced his training by achieving a degree in general surgery at the renowned Texas Medical Center at the University of Texas. His journey to excellence in plastic surgery included serving at renowned medical centers, including Memorial Herman Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and Texas Heart Hospital. He then returned to New Orleans, completing a Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine.
