Dr. Jennifer Palacio, M.D., is a dedicated South Florida native, born and raised in Miami. In 2013, she graduated magna cum laude, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological sciences from Florida International University. In 2019, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at FIU. Dr. Palacio completed her general surgery residency at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL in 2024. She further specialized in cosmetic surgery, completing an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery certified fellowship at one of the most well-known cosmetic surgery practices in Tampa, FL in 2025. Her specialized training in cosmetic surgery encompasses cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, facial cosmetic surgery, and more.

With a strong belief that it is both a privilege and an honor to practice surgery, Dr. Palacio strives to make a meaningful impact on her patients’ lives through a blend of compassion, expertise, and technical skill. She is particularly excited to embark on her new professional journey as a cosmetic surgeon, where she can serve her community and apply her keen eye for detail to provide personalized care to her future patients, making her a wonderful addition to the Avana Plastic Surgery team.

In her spare time, Dr. Palacio enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, spending time at the beach, traveling, exercising and gardening.
