Dr. Work is a U.S. Army Veteran who completed his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center located in San Francisco (1986-1987). From 1987 to 1989, he served as a general medical officer stationed in the Republic of Panama, Central America. Dr. Work completed his general surgery residency (1989-1993) at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and practiced as a general surgeon at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (1993-1995) in Germany.
