Profile of Joel. H Paull, Dr

Dr. Joel Paull is at heart a diagnostician and not just in medicine. His area of expertise is analysis and finding creative, elegant, and low-risk solutions.

A native of Buffalo, Dr. Paull received his Undergraduate degree, his Dental degree, and his Medical Degree from SUNY at Buffalo. He continued in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery, the latter under Dr. Clem DeFelice, a noted and respected Plastic Surgeon and educator.

Dr. Paull opened a private practice in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. He became Board-Certified in Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. When new techniques emerged Dr. Paull would go to the source, such as Dr. Carl Hartrampf for breast reconstruction with living tissue in Atlanta or Dr. Yves-Gerard Illouz for liposuction in Paris. In 1992 an injury forced him to retire from the Operating Room. It was at that time he became associated with Dr. Robert Perry.
