With over 15 years of experience working alongside top surgeons around the world—from Hawaii to Germany and Afghanistan—Dr. Tran offers expert care in a welcoming and understanding environment.

A Southern California native and the son of Vietnamese immigrants, Dr. Tran graduated as valedictorian of his high school and earned a Congressional nomination to attend the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated as a Distinguished Honor Graduate. He was one of ten graduates allowed to attend medical school directly after West Point, prior to beginning his active-duty military service. Dr. Tran attended the top-ranked University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and then completed specialized surgical training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. During this time, he participated in multiple medical missions performing cleft lip and palate surgeries across Asia and worked with The Queen’s Medical Center Head and Neck Institute to treat patients with advanced head and neck cancers.

To further hone his skills, Dr. Tran was hand-selected by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for a competitive fellowship under world-renowned Dr. Vito Quatela, President of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies and past-president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
