Profile of Anthony Congiusta, Dr
Anthony Congiusta, MD, DDS is a fellowship-trained, dual-degree triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon and oral and maxillofacial surgeon. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU, he completed a 6-year dual degree residency program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA during which he earned his medical degree and obtained a 1-year certificate in general surgery. While treating many patients with dentofacial deformities and participating in facial trauma call at two trauma hospitals, Dr. Congiusta fostered an appreciation for restoring facial harmony and esthetics. This motivated him to pursue a rigorous fellowship solely dedicated to the full scope of cosmetic surgery with the internationally renowned Dr. Angelo Cuzalina. During this time, Dr. Congiusta completed several hundred cosmetic surgery procedures and became proficient in the field of cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Congiusta is board-certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is determined to helping patients meet their goals through his surgical expertise.
Dr. Congiusta is from Brooklyn, NY and is excited to bring his cosmetic and maxillofacial skillset to southeast Connecticut. He is committed to providing a high level of patient care and greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
