Profile of Ricky Sayal, Dr
Meet Dr. Sayal - a board-certified, double fellowship-trained physician at Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Detroit who provides comprehensive facial rejuvenation care to all ages. He was consistently at the top of his class while earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan before earning his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to caring for patients here in America, Dr. Sayal has volunteered in Guatemala.
Notably, along with his work abroad, he served as a mentor, working alongside kids with autism as part of one program known as Son-Rise. Dr. Sayal takes pride in mentoring residents of various plastic surgical and facial plastic surgical residencies with lectures, workshops and anatomical dissection courses.
Dr. Sayal's passion for facial reconstructive surgery motivated him to further advance his surgical skills through Creighton University's Head and Neck/Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Omaha, Nebraska. Once there, he pursued a year-long surgical internship under the mentorship of Ross A. Clevens, MD, FACS, where he perfected both cosmetic and reconstructive surgical techniques — specifically rhinoplasty, facelift, or neck lift surgeries and blepharoplasties (eyelid lifts).
In addition to these services, Dr. Sayal offers non-surgical treatments such as laser skin resurfacing or dermabrasion which can work wonders on those who want an instant rejuvenating effect sans anesthesia! If all else fails and someone finds themselves struggling with unwanted scars left behind by Mohs surgeries - don't worry! As Dr. Sayal would be happy to perform scar correction surgery, too, so that you can feel like you have fully recovered. When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Sayal also enjoys working out, watching movies, tennis, golf, photography, and traveling.
