Dr. James Newman is the Founder and Director of the Aesthetic Center located in Palo Alto, San Mateo and Half Moon Bay. With over 15 years of skilled surgical experience and an innovator in minimally invasive techniques, he is one of the most sought after plastic surgeons in the area. Dr. Newman has put together a team of exemplary plastic surgeons, aestheticians, anesthesiologist and anti-aging specialist to help patients achieve their highest goals of both inner and outer health and beauty.

After receiving his MD degree, Dr. Newman went on to complete his internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University. This clinical training and surgery experience focused on plastic and reconstructive surgery for five consecutive years. During this period Dr. Newman developed an interest in cosmetic plastic surgery and performed over 1000 surgeries. Dr. Newman published several scientific papers in plastic surgery and laser cosmetic surgery. He continued his clinical interest in laser and cosmetic surgery and completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford where he also joined the Faculty. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology . Because of his specialized interest and desire to give personalized care, he created a private practice in the Bay Area.
